Aqua Blue Supports Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon

On the 30th of July 2022, the city of Ghana saw the first ever Homowo marathon as part of the traditional celebrations of the Ga state.

Aqua Blue, as part of our social responsibilities, gave a supporting hand to the organizers (MEDIVENTS CONSULT). Ghana’s Koogo Atia nearly pulled off a stunning finish during the race but could only settle for the silver medal, clocking a time of 1:04:47 hours. The race saw athletes from across the country and from outside. It was a keenly contested race and It was a dominant performance from the Kenyans, as Dennis Tumuti took home the bronze medal with a season’s personal best of 1:05:37 hours.

The Accra Inter-City marathon has come to stay and it will be held every year as part of the Homowo festivities, which seek to promote peace among the Ga people and Aqua Blue will always be around to support
